About Me

Screenwriter, Director, Genre junkie

Eddie Nenedzhyan is an armenian-American Writer and native angeleno whose ill-advised decision to watch “The matrix” and “Se7en” at far too young of an age prompted him to wonder what it would be like to one day tell stories of his own.

While studying journalism at California State University, Northridge, he discovered that screenwriting sparked more conversations about folks on the fringes than the investigative pieces he was covering. After seeing the names of fellow Armenian filmmakers like Sev Ohanian, Steven zaillian, and Roger Kupelian in the credits of some of his favorite films, He finally took the plunge into filmmaking.

As a screenwriting Fellow of the american Film Institute, Eddie’s thesis film “KAVOR” became the first armenian-language film in AFI’s history, and received the Franklin J. Schaffner award. His screenplays have placed on Screencraft and Coverfly’s Red List.

Eddie has worked in development across studios like Blur, Alcon Entertainment, and Nickel City Pictures. Specializing in both animated and live-action genre storytelling, his stories blend lush worldbuilding with surreal atmospheres and adventures with a humanist edge.
